Our story
The spark ignited at a wedding in Panama.
Liz is Panamanian; Joel is Canadian. Keeping that spark alive meant long flights, navigating time zones, and more video calls than we could count — all to spend as much time together as we could.
Somewhere between Panama and Canada, home became less about a place and more about being together.
On February 8, 2026, Joel asked Liz to marry him. She said yes.
Now we get to bring everyone we love together in Panama, where it all began.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you.

REFINED formal
We invite you to dress in deep, rich colours that complement the mountain setting.
Think emerald, forest green and olive; teal and navy; burgundy and plum; rust and terracotta; and deep chocolate brown.
We recommend softer, understated fabrics rather than anything overly shiny or reflective.
PLEASE AVOID
White, ivory, cream, champagne and vanilla · any shade of yellow · pastels and washed-out tones or prints with white in them.
Beyond that, wear what makes you feel wonderful — we just want you there.

Photos & Memories
We'll have photographers and videographers with us all day. At a photographer's wedding, this surprises no one. We'll share everything once we have it.
More than anything, we'd love you to be present with us that day. And if you do feel like sharing, a story is perfectly fine — we'd just ask you to keep the Instagram feed for the day after, so the first look at our wedding comes from us.
Thank you for crossing borders, highways and mountains to be with us. It means everything.
